This scholarship is in admiration for a former Seminole High School graduate by the name of Willie Killingsworth Jr. He is my father and my inspiration to be a servant leader here at Seminole High School and for the Community of Sanford & Midway. Mr. Killingsworth works for the City of Sanford in the Utilities Department and has always ensured the community of Sanford and Midway were taken care of. Being a Servant Leader means thinking beyond the scope of yourself, having empathy, grace, and humility to show all who need it even when you think they don't deserve it.
