Each year, the Suburban Republican Women's Club Federated, located in Seminole County, accepts applications for a scholarship. An applicant must be a female and be accepted to any accredited college, university, or vocational-technical school. The applicant must have at least a 2.5 GPA, be registered or pre-registered Republican in Seminole County, and must be at least 17 and a half years old. Mrs Prindables created the original Gourmet Caramel Apples more than 30 years ago, and now offers a variety of Caramel and Chocolate Confections, as well. We are pleased to extend a 2023 Scholarship opportunity to incoming or current college students majoring in education. We believe that educators have the power to spark positive development in student’s lives and their futures.

The scholarship award is to be used exclusively for school tuition or related expenses. A check for $1,000 will be made payable to the award recipient’s college or university*. The recipient is expected to submit receipts in accordance with IRS regulations.

The American Muslim Alliance of Florida Inc. will be awarding a total of $20,000 in scholarships to thirty students in support of Florida High School Senior students in pursuit of a college education. The top 10 students will each receive a scholarship in the amount of $1000. In addition, 20 students will each receive a scholarship in the amount of $500.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:

The applicant must be graduating from a public, private, or home school within the state of Florida and entering college as a full-time student.

• Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and attach official copies of school transcripts.
• Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from teachers of core subjects. Please limit letters of recommendation to one page for each recommendation.
• Applicant’s guidance counselor must complete page 2.
• Applicant must compose and type a one-page, single-spaced essay stating why you should be awarded a scholarship, and why you plan to further your studies at a college or university.
• Applicant completes and submits page 4.

The Casselberry Chamber of Comerce will award a minimum of three (3) individual scholarships. The award will be between $500 and $1000. The scholarships will be open to any graduating senior from Lyman, Lake Howell, or Winter Springs High Schools was has been employed by a business on a part-time or full-time basis during their senior year 2025-2026.

Completed applications should be returned to the guidance department no later than noon, Friday, February 27th, 2026.

P.E.O is a Philanthropic Education Organization where women celebrate the advancement of women; educate women through scholarships and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations. Lou Witzenburg was a P.E.O. member for 69 years. She held several positions within the organization in Florida and was also a member and officer of chapters in Nebraska, Kentucky, and New Jersey. She exemplified what helping women is all about and was dedicated to helping women achieve their highest educational goals. We dedicate this scholarship in her memory for her passion and service to the P.E.O. Organization.

High school graduating seniors with a distinguished record of community involvement and a strong desire to continue to learn through service are encouraged to apply. Competitive candidates have community involvement beyond the normal requirements for high school graduation or Florida Bright Futures scholarships, both in quantity and depth of service. A commitment that exhibits initiative and leadership will be given greater consideration. International and out-of-state students are welcome to apply.

Participants complete a minimum of 45 hours of community service in their first semester and 75 hours/semester for the remainder of their time at FSU. These hours are met through service projects, monthly program meetings, peer mentorships, and program-specific courses.

This year, The Central Florida Gator Club is proud to continue our Educational Scholarship Program for 2026 to recognize deserving students from the Central Florida region (Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties) who have been accepted to the University of Florida. Our goal is to identify the most deserving students from the region who demonstrate academic success, leadership and involvement in our community. This year we will be awarding a total of ten scholarships: 

• (1) $3,000 scholarship for graduating seniors from the region whose parent(s) or themselves are members of the University of Florida Alumni Association at the time of application submission.
• (9) $2,000 scholarships for all other graduating seniors from the region.  

The “Pearlie Lift Up” Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who has struggled personally or academically, who has given back through service to his or her community and who wants a second chance to further his or her education. Preference will be given to applicants who are African-American graduates who reside in Seminole or Volusia County.

This scholarship is dedicated to Cecil A. Tucker, II. Cecil was an agricultural researcher, rancher, historian, author, businessman and philanthropist of both time and resources. Cecil had a long, successful career in agriculture having served as a Seminole County Agricultural Extension Agent, where he developed educational programs for farmers as well as youth, Cecil was a leader in the agriculture community, having served as President of Seminole County Farm Bureau for a number of years. This scholarship strives to honor his memory by helping to support future agricultural leaders. 

This scholarship strives to award up to six $1,000 scholarships to graduating High School Seniors or current college students who are interested in continuing their education to prepare for a career in some way connected to the diverse agricultural industry. 

Applicant must be a high school senior in Seminole County, Florida; or a current college student that is a resident of Seminole County, Florida.  Applicant must be a member of Florida Farm Bureau, or have a family member who is a member of Florida Farm Bureau. Membership cost is only $41.

Through our Youth Leadership & Scholarship Program, we provide financial assistance, intensive case management, peer support, and leadership opportunities for students who have experienced homelessness to help you get to and through college, build your career, and create a strong foundation for your future.

You are eligible to apply for the SchoolHouse Connection Youth Leadership & Scholarship Program if you meet all of the following:

• You currently reside in the United States. (Undocumented applicants are eligible.)
• You were born on or after June 2, 2007.
• You will be starting college for the first time in the 2027–2028 academic year at a: four-year college or university, community college, or trade school. This includes:
  • High school juniors
  • High school seniors planning to take a gap year
  • Students earning a GED who plan to start college in 2027–2028

Our program begins working with students one year before they start college to provide intensive college readiness support.

Purpose

NCS provides scholarships to outstanding graduating high school students pursuing secondary education in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field at accredited Technical Schools, Colleges, and Universities. This program recognizes academic achievement and community involvement. Selection criteria include multiple factors including economic need.

Eligibility

• Graduating high school students- preferably taking courses in modeling and simulation-related topics.
• Provide a screenshot or transcript report indicating an overall grade point average of at least 3.0.
• Submit a well-prepared resume indicating any certifications.
• Demonstrate extracurricular activity and community interaction.
• Provide a teacher recommendation letter.

Note: No one factor shall be above all other factors. The final decision shall be based on a combination of factors.

Eligibility: Awards are for U.S. Citizens who are Florida residents with a minimum GPA of 3.6 or higher. 

Applicants should present their application packets to the Chapter Scholarship Chairman by April 15th. Winners will be notified by July 1st.

AWARDS: Postsecondary awards are available in the amount of $2500. One award will be reserved for a DAR member who is continuing education and whose primary chapter is a Florida chapter. A second award will be reserved for an accepted applicant to an accredited trade school or training academy. If either of these reserved awards are not granted, the funds will be used for a general scholarship.

The City of Altamonte Springs collaborated with generous partners to award scholarships to aspiring science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) SCPS scholars in our community. The AS2I Scholarship allows students to explore and develop careers in STEM fields. This year, the program will give up to $10,000 in scholarship funds to students who exemplify a passion for innovating a better world for future generations.

We'll help take the stress out of paying for college so that you can focus on the things that matter most. Named after Addition Financial's former President and CEO, the Joseph A. Melbourne Jr. Annual Scholarship Program awards college scholarships to 8 high school seniors, worth a total of $10,000 each ($2,500 per year over four years). 

The 2026 application submission window is open until February 28, 2026. Winners will be selected and notified by April 30, 2026.

High school applicants must be graduating high school in the spring or summer of 2026. (Minimum 12-credit hour semester or full-time equivalent). This scholarship is designed to be distributed over a four-year timeframe.

GPA requirements:

Applicant must have a current cumulative grade point average (GPA) of a 3.0 or higher.

The Delta Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated is proud to offer five (5) $1,000 scholarships to young women pursuing higher education. Central Florida high school seniors are invited to apply for this one-time scholarship. Applicants should demonstrate strong academic achievement, leadership ability, creativity, and a commitment to community service. Applicants must be accepted to attend an accredited two- or four-year college/university or technical college and may use the scholarship to offset the costs associated with tuition, fees, books, room and board, technology, health insurance, or general living expenses.

Students must be female, high school seniors and possess an unweighted GPA between 2.75-3.25.

The application window closes March 31, 2026.

Graduating High School Student Requirements:
Applicants must be a 2026 High School Graduate, registered at a Central Florida accredited College or University pursuing a certificate, minor, undergraduate, or graduate degree in a Central Florida Hospitality Program or Culinary Program, by September 2026.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0

• The NextEra Energy Foundation will award up to 10 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have at least one year of experience in a SECME (Science, Engineering, Communication, Mathematics, and Enrichment) program in one of the following counties: Brevard, Broward, Escambia, Flagler, Hendry, Manatee, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Seminole and Volusia. 

The Mark Wandall Foundation has $8000 in scholarship funds to be awarded this year. We are proud to offer scholarships to graduating seniors and/or young adults (age 25 or younger) who are legal US citizens and residents of the state of Florida, seeking post-secondary education, and who have suffered the death of a parent, sibling, or guardian. Scholarship values and distribution of funds will be determined after all scholarship applications have been received and reviewed.

This scholarship fund is a program of the Florida Elks Youth Camp and the Florida State Elks Association. The fund provides scholarships in amounts up to $10,000 per year to graduating high school/home school seniors who are planning to attend college and to students currently enrolled in an accredited American college, university or community college. To be eligible you must have served as an employee of the Florida Elks Youth Camp Summer Camp program for at least one season prior to submitting an application. If awarded the scholarship, you will only receive that award the fall semester AFTER your second summer of work. The scholarship winners will be notified shortly after the selection committee meets in February and the top winners will be asked to attend the State Convention of the Florida State Elks Association at the Orlando Rosen Centre to receive their award certificates.

Spectrum News 13 is proud to present the Project Weather Scholarship Contest. A $1,000 check will be awarded to nine high school seniors in public, private, or parochial schools who excel in science.

It takes more than financial support to reach college graduation. That’s why the Dell Scholars program was designed to support the challenges many students face while pursuing a degree. Even so, we recognize that college costs can significantly burden many students and their families. Nationally, 500 Dell Scholars are selected each year to receive a scholarship plus lots of non-monetary support. The application opens 12/15/2025. This package contains information and directions for applying to the United States JCI Senate Foundation Scholarship Program. Each year, the U.S. Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation grants $1,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited vocational or industrial school. The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and the educational institution of the recipient’s choice.

Through a generous donation from Wayne M. Densch Charities Inc., the First Generation Scholarship Program is available to first-time, first-generation college students at Seminole State College of Florida pursuing an Associate in Arts degree. This program supports students with financial need, helping them successfully transition to college and work toward a bachelor’s degree.

Once again this year, the Kiwanis Club of Sanford-Lake Mary is proud to offer the SAMUEL BEAUCHAMP “JIM” CROWE AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP ESSAY CONTEST to graduating Seminole County high school seniors.

Metropolitan Florida Chapter of the National Drifters, Incorporated is affiliated with a National Organization – The Drifters, Incorporated. We are a group of motivated and inspired women from the central, south, and surrounding Florida areas. One of our organization’s primary focuses is education. Metropolitan Florida Chapter of the National Drifters, Incorporated will be awarding two (2) $1,000.00 scholarships to graduating seniors. The application below outlines guidelines for applying for these scholarships. Please make this information available to your seniors. Eligibility: Each one-thousand-dollar ($1,000) scholarship award is open to any senior graduating from a Seminole County Public High School who will be attending a Florida public institution and whose parent is a full-time employee of the Seminole County Public School district.

Selection Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need and academic performance. Candidates must have an overall 3.0 GPA in those subjects related to their area of academic pursuit. Additionally, in their essay, students must demonstrate an alignment between their career goals and SASA’s mission: “Growing Leaders Today to Influence Tomorrow.”

Two scholarships for $2,500 each will be awarded to a graduating senior enrolled at a Seminole County Public High School who has been accepted to attend a College or University where they will pursue a four-year degree in Aviation or a Vocational School where they will pursue training resulting in FAA Certificates in programs such as Airframe and Power Plant (A & P), Avionics, etc.

Completed applications should be submitted via email to scholarships@osaa.net, along with a copy of your high school transcript, by April 2, 2026. Scholarship funds will be provided to the Financial Aid Office of your College, University, or Vocational School in time to be available for the Fall 2026 Semester.

The UBC Tiffany Watkins scholarship was established in 2017 to recognize a student who has experienced mental health challenges either personally or a loved one. This year's scholarship will recognize three graduating seniors from Central Florida ($500 per recipient).

Scholarships are based on a short essay (750 words or less) about how mental health has affected the applicant's life and how the applicant plans on helping others, given their story. Applications can be submitted throughout the year. May 1 is the cutoff for each year's applications. The financial award will be used to fund applicants' college expenses.

Through rent-free housing and cooperative living, Southern Scholarship Foundation supports students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character attend institutions of higher education. Program Description: For over sixty years, the Southern Scholarship Foundation has helped thousands of students with outstanding academic abilities, good character and financial need realize their dream of a college education. Qualified students attending Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee State College and the University of Florida are awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing.

The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools will award over $130,000 in scholarships to the SCPS Class of 2026 this spring! Scholarships range in value from $500 to Two-Year Florida Prepaid Scholarships good for 60 college credits.  

Our 45+ Scholarships range in value and while most are available to all SCPS High Schools, some are specific to Hagerty, Lake Brantley, Lyman, and Seminole. Some opportunities focus on Areas of Study such as Trade Programs, Education, Nursing, the Arts, Engineering, or to students who’ve participated in athletic programs, arts programs, extracurricular activities, and community service. Other factors are considered such as students who have overcome challenges, experienced homelessness or demonstrated financial need.

All applicants must be committed to pursuing continued education within one year of graduation. Scholarship funds will only be distributed to an approved university, college, or trade school. The Education Fund honors the legacy of Corine V. Wilson, who was an educator, humanitarian, and visionary. She is the Founder and President Emeritus of the Central Florida International Black Women’s Congress, Inc. (CFIBWC).  Members of the CFIBWC and other donors support this Education Fund to generate one or more annual scholarship(s). The scholarship aligns with the organization's mission to provide educational, cultural, social, and recreational programs for minority youth and women of all ages in Central Florida to enhance their quality of life. Arts for Life! annually awards $1,000 scholarships to 25 graduating high school seniors in Florida who demonstrate excellence in creative writing, dance, drama, music or visual art. Launched by former First Lady Columba Bush in 1999, the program has awarded scholarships to more than 650 gifted high school seniors.

The deadline to apply for an Arts for Life! scholarship is February 9, 2026.

Capco, a Wipro Company, is proud to offer three (3) one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) scholarships to selected college-bound high school seniors from Seminole/Orange Counties who have dedicated themselves to academic achievement. This scholarship will be awarded based on, among other factors, creativity and academic dedication. It is Capco’s way of supporting the youth and investing in their success as they continue their upward academic journey. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must: 1. Submit a completed application; 2. Be a public high school senior in Seminole/Orange Counties; 3. Attend a college/university/trade school in the state of Florida from Fall 2026.

This scholarship is in honor of former student, athlete, coach, and teacher of Seminole County Public Schools, Tyler Lampe, who lost his battle to Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in October of 2021. The Tyler Lampe Legacy Student-Athlete Scholarship is established to celebrate the vibrant life and enduring legacy of Tyler Lampe, a passionate advocate for athletics and the invaluable life lessons it imparts. This scholarship is dedicated to recognizing and supporting graduating seniors from Seminole County Public Schools who embody Lampe's spirit, showcasing excellence in both academics and athletics.

Lampe knew the meaning of hard work and recognized the rewards of commitment. He valued the relationships he had with his coaches, players, and teammates. Lampe believed athletics was foundational in forming leaders and developing character. The intent of this scholarship is to recognize two outstanding student athletes with $500 each, while also honoring the legacy of Coach Lampe. ​

The Charles M. Rowson, Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established in 1983 by the Orlando Runners Club in memory of one of our members, Chuck Rowson, who died unexpectedly at age 29. The ORC has provided scholarships each year to local high school athletes, most recently providing a $2,500 scholarship to up to four students, for a total of $10,000.  The winners are selected by the Club based on their academic achievements, athletic abilities, school and community involvement and financial need. The scholarships are presented at a club event in late spring/early summer.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors in Orange, Osceola, Lake, or Seminole, counties who have competed in cross country, track, or both. A completed scholarship application and letters of recommendation must be received by the ORC by April 3, 2026. Funds for the scholarship program are made possible in part by the volunteer efforts of our club members and their families at the annual IOA Corporate 5K event in Orlando, and by proceeds from our annual Race into Summer 5k. The ORC respectfully requests that all scholarship recipients and/or their families volunteer to assist with our annual club Race Into Summer 5k. 

PEO Chapter BQ, Florida Scholarships are provided annually for the support of actively involved students to obtain higher education at an accredited, not-for-profit college or university.  Scholarship amounts may vary each year based on number of applicants and chapter resources. A Scholarship Committee comprised of Chapter BQ members reviews the applications and makes recommendations for awarding the scholarship. The award is then approved by the International PEO Foundation. Relatives of members of the Scholarship Committee are not eligible.

Requirements for consideration:

1. You must be a female student who is a full-time resident of Orange or Seminole County, Florida

2. You must have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.000 to 3.500 at the time of application. If your GPA is not in this range, please do not apply.

3. You should be actively and regularly involved in your school, community, and/or work.

4. You should have clear goals for your future studies.

5. Although financial need may be considered, it is not the primary criterion for selection.

The “Pride of Our Youth” scholarship program by Univision Contigo Orlando, as in previous years, opens the doors to the dreams of our community with the launch of its application period.

This is your opportunity to transform your hard work into a future full of possibilities!

This year, 8 outstanding students will be recognized for their dedication and commitment, each receiving a $1,000 scholarship to take one more step toward their college goals.

“Pride of Our Youth” celebrates young people who inspire through their leadership, community service, and academic excellence, demonstrating that effort and perseverance do have rewards.

If you have a story of overcoming challenges and a dream to achieve, this is your moment. You have until May 3, 2026, to apply for the Pride of Our Youth scholarship and become part of a generation that is building a better tomorrow.

With nearly 300 scholarship opportunities, the SSC Foundation has a variety of scholarships for degree-seeking, first-time-in-college, and vocational students to assist with tuition and book expenses. Please scroll down and view the different student categories to learn about the opportunities that apply to you.

In addition, the Foundation has developed a searchable scholarship catalog to help students discover scholarships that apply to their field of study.

Enrolled students pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree who have completed at least one term may apply online at www.foundationscholars.com during the following open application periods: 

• Fall Term:  May 15 through July 15
• Spring Term: October 1 through October 31
• Summer Term: March 1 through March 31

Students are encouraged to join the Foundation page on RaiderConnect to receive updates throughout the application and award process and notification of external scholarship opportunities. You must have a Seminole State email address to apply to become a member.

Female resident of Florida with a cumulative unweighted gpa of 3.0 or greater who meets requirements of scholarship, character, leadership, and financial need

• Award Amount: $1,000 to one student per school (Hagerty, Oviedo, Winter Springs).
• Deadline: February 15, 2026.
• Eligibility: Graduating seniors from the specified schools.

Since 2015, Foster Love has partnered with private donors, college foster care support organizations, nonprofit partners, and government agencies to deliver over $8 million dollars in academic assistance directly to college students who have experienced the foster care system.

The Horatio Alger Association seeks college-bound students who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity. Students must have financial need and a determination to turn their adversity into opportunity while pursuing their American Dream.

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Be enrolled full time as a high school junior or senior in the United States

• Exhibit a strong commitment to complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)

• Demonstrate financial need ($100,000 or lower household income)

• Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities

• Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity

• Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0; and

• Be a United States citizen
