The $500 Lee Barnes Memorial Scholarship Award is dedicated to the memory of retired U.S. Army Colonel Lee Barnes, a longtime Seminole County resident with a distinguished record of service to our community. Applications are open to any graduating senior who is a Junior ROTC cadet at Oviedo High School, Winter Springs High School, Hagerty High School or Lake Howell High School, and also to any graduating senior who is a member of Civil Air Patrol Seminole Composite Squadron 116. Applicants must provide proof of their acceptance at a two-year community college, a technical school, or a four-year college or university.
