The Education Fund honors the legacy of Corine V. Wilson who was an educator, humanitarian, and visionary. She is the Founder and President Emeritus of the Central Florida International Black Women’s Congress, Inc (CFIBWC). Members of the CFIBWC and other donors support this Education Fund to generate one or more annual scholarship(s). The scholarship is in keeping with the mission of the organization, which is to provide educational, cultural, social and recreational programs to minority youth and women of all ages in the Central Florida area to enhance their quality of life. This one-time Education Fund Stipend or Scholarship will be awarded for the current academic year. The submittal deadline is Sunday, February18, 2024. The recipient(s) will be notified on or before March 5, 2024, followed by an invitation to attend our award and recognition event to be held on Saturday morning on March 9, 2024. If selected for a scholarship, the recipient must (1) submit a thank you letter to the email address, cfcibwc2020@gmail.com and (2) must attend the scholarship and awards event being held at the Hilton Hotel, Altamonte Springs, FL, on Saturday morning, March 9, 2024.
