The Maurice R. Hilleman Essay Contest honors virologist Maurice R. Hilleman, who contributed to more than half of the routine vaccines young children receive today. To celebrate his legacy, students in grades 6-12 have an opportunity to learn about Hilleman and reflect on a scientific issue they would work to address and why. The deadline is Feb. 15, 2024.
