Scholarship Description:

he Florida School Counselor Association will award:

• Two (2) high school scholarships in the amount of $500 each, and
• One (1) high school scholarship in the amount of $750 to a senior child of a current FSCA member who has held at least six consecutive months of membership prior to April 1, 2025.

High School Student Criteria
Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a Florida High School;
• Be in 12th grade, and on track to graduate either during the current spring or summer;
• Intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution in the upcoming summer or fall following high school graduation; and,
• Grant FSCA permission to announce name, school, post response, and provide a picture for media publication if selected to receive the scholarship.

Child of a FSCA Member must provide the FSCA member name and email address who holds a current FSCA membership for at least the past six consecutive months prior to April 1, 2025.
Application Requirements

The application requires a 500 word essay explaining how a school counselor made a difference for the applicant's school success.

Deadlines

Application Closes April 1, 2025 at 5:00 pm. Recipients notified by May 1.
